After a yearlong hiatus, the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este once again attracted the world’s most exciting classic cars to Lake Como.

Held under unusual circumstances, the most significant celebration of the mystique of historic cars went forward from Oct. 1 through 3 on the grounds of the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este in Lake Como, Italy. The scaled-down event’s highlights included the presentation of a winner’s watch, donated by leading partner A. Lange & Söhne (alange-soehne. com), to the winner of the car representing the Best of Show. A unique white gold 1815 Chronograph with a solid pink gold dial and a hand-engraved hinged cuvette was presented to Brian Ross for his extraordinary 1956 Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France.
