The 50th anniversary of Gucci Swiss Timepieces marks the next step into high watchmaking.

Gucci’s (gucci.com) Love Parade collection for spring/summer 2022 was an ode to Hollywood glamour combined with the riotous disruption of today’s multimedia superstars, brilliantly zigzagg ing between decades and genres. Creative Director Alessandro Michele mixed colors and fabrics from the decadent corners of Hollywood’s golden era with the styling of the ’70s and attitude of today.

To mark the 50th anniversary of Gucci Swiss Timepieces, a new collection of horological marvels debuted earlier this year, a group of fie watches showcasing mechanical prowess, fine craft smanship and luxurious materials. With skeletonized movements, whirling tourbillons, celestial visions and spinning gems, this glorious ode to time travel is the ideal concept for Gucci’s giant leap into high watchmaking.
