This silver-gray piece, marked by a subtle circular satin-brushed finish, uses a fierce blue for the hands, hour markers and bezel inlay. Strategically implementing batontype hands, large and rimmed in an intense blue, in addition to the finishing of hour markers in a blue hue, legibility was Chopard’s main priority when designing the piece. This is reflected in the enlarged date at 3 o’clock, also cut into the underside of the transparent sapphire crystal.

Improving the precision potential of the piece with a beat frequency of 4 hertz and a 48-hour power reserve, the watch has only picked up speed since its original model—keeping up with speeds from 60 to 400 km/h through the chronograph sweep-seconds hand.
